Take the trip of a lifetime down the world-famous Lower Gorge of the Grand Canyon. Multi-day trips provide a wide variety of excitement from the first day of rapids to floating and relaxing in the smooth current on the second day and venturing onto Lake Mead on the final day.

  1. All overnight trips require a $500 deposit at time of registration. Cancellations incur a $75 cancellation fee per person.  
  2. Fort Tuthill will charge each person the full amount for cancellations made less than 21 days prior to the trip.
  3. You can sponsor up to 4 guest per DOD Military ID Card!

Need to know and Fequently Asked Questions

Alcoholic Beverages are not provided by Fort Tuthill’s OAP and guests need to bring their own (no glass)

Illegal substances are not allowed and this is a trip on Federal Land

Rafting trip includes 10% off any lodging at Fort Tuthill before and after your trip.

Is food provided?
Yes. All food and snacks are provided.

As a DoD cardholder can I bring a guest?
YES.
Military ID cardholders may sponsor non-military guest. Groups will be required to present ID cards prior to leaving for the trip.
Is lodging provided?
No. 
Pre and post trip lodging reservations are not included in the price of the trip. If you need lodging, please call Ft. Tuthill’s reservations at (928)-774-8893.
Where does the rafting take place?
All trips run in the western section of the Grand Canyon between Diamond Creek River Mile (225) and Pearce Ferry (280)
