Early Check‐In Policy
Early check‐in is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Guests arriving before the applicable early check-in period are welcome to inquire at the front desk. Early check-in is based on availability and operational readiness.

An early check-in fee may be added at the time of reservation. If early check-in cannot be accommodated because the accommodation is not ready, the fee will be removed from the guest’s account.

Fort Tuthill reserves the right to approve or deny early check-in requests based on occupancy, housekeeping progress, maintenance needs, and operational requirements.

If you arrive after office hours, your room key will be in the lockbox inside the main lodge entrance on the left.

The code will be emailed to you after you submit a copy of your ID via email to afterhours@forttuthill.com

We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or change your reservation.

Reservations changed within 48 hours before check-in will be charged one night per unit or site.

Early departures will incur an early departure fee of half the nightly rate.

Pet-Friendly Units: Pets are not allowed in the lodge but are permitted in designated pet-friendly units. Emotional Support Animals, while valued, are not considered Service Animals and must also stay in these designated units. Pets are permitted in all yurts and the campground sites.

Required Shot Records: Upon check-in, presentation of current rabies shot records for all animals is mandatory.

Approved Pets: Only dogs and/or cats are permitted within our pet policy.

Pet Limit: Guests are permitted up to 2 domestic pets (i.e., dogs/cats) per unit or site.

Additional Pet Fees: A supplementary fee of $15.00 will be charged per night for pet-friendly lodging units. This fee covers up to 2 pets; no additional fee applies for the second pet.

Pets must be on a leash at all times.

Pets may not be left in vehicles or units unattended.
- We reserve based upon the size of your unit. Sites are assigned at the time of your arrival; specific sites may be requested but are NOT guaranteed.
- Pets are permitted, limited to 2 domestic pets (i.e., dogs/cats) per site.
- Pets must be restrained, and guests are responsible for cleaning up any waste.
- Pets may not be left in vehicles unattended.
- Maximum of three vehicles/tents per site (e.g., one vehicle and two tents).
- Pets are permitted, limited to 2 domestic pets (i.e., dogs/cats) per yurt.
- Linens, pillows, and towels are NOT provided.
- Wood is provided.
- No housekeeping service in the yurts.

Firearms and weapons are not permitted inside facilities or on the grounds, except when secured in a locked vehicle. If you arrive with a firearm or other weapon, it must remain locked in your vehicle for the duration of your visit.
This includes (but is not limited to):

All weapons must be declared at check-in.

Smoking is prohibited ANYWHERE on Fort Tuthill property, including units and buildings. A charge of up to $250 will be assessed for smoking.

We have strict outdoor fire restrictions at Fort Tuthill. Wood fires are prohibited, except in designated fire rings, located in the campground, behind the lodge and unit A01. Fires in the fire ring must be kept less than 3 feet in height. Extinguish the fire when leaving the fire pit. Make sure there is no smoke and there are no glowing coals. Only use charcoal or propane in the barbeque grills.

Depending on fire restrictions and/or wind conditions, charcoal fires may be prohibited.

Rentals are for a 24-hour period.

A half-day rental is 4 hours.
FORT TUTHILL IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES CAUSED ON TUBE RUN OR BY FORT TUTHILL TUBES. FORT TUTHILL HAS THE RIGHT TO PROHIBIT ANYONE FROM THE TUBE RUN IF THEY ARE NOT FOLLOWING THE STATED RULES. FORT TUTHILL ALSO HAS THE RIGHT TO PROHIBIT ACCESS TO THE TUBE RUN IF CONDITIONS ARE TOO DANGEROUS.

3. TUBE HILL IS ONLY OPEN WITH AT LEAST 1 FT OF SNOW
4. TUBING IS PERMITTED SUNRISE TO SUNSET
5. KIDS UNDER 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
6. NO TUBING ON STOMACH – FEET FIRST ONLY
7. CHECK FOR CARS AND PEOPLE BEFORE TUBING
8. ONLY ONE PERSON ON THE TUBE RUN AT A TIME
