POLICIES

Need to Know

  • NO smoking on the property
  • Quiet hours are from 2200 to 0800.
  • There is NO WiFI, phone or air conditioning in any unit.
  • NO pets except for specific pet friendly unit.

Check In and Check Out

  • A valid ID must be presented at check in
  • Check in is at 4:00 P.M and check out is by 11:00 A.M. (Lodge, A-Frames, Cabins & Yurts)
  • Check in is after 12:00 P.M and check out is by 11:00 A.M. (RV and TENT SITES)

Cancelation Policy

  • We require 48 hours notice to cancel or change your reservation.
  • Reservations changed w/in 48 hours will be charged one night per unit or site.
  • Early departures will incur an early departure fee of half the nightly rate.

Pet Policy

At Fort Tuthill, we welcome your furry companions to select pet-friendly units. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, please take note of the following guidelines
  • Pet-Friendly Units: Pets are not allowed in the lodge but are permitted in designated pet-friendly units. Emotional Support Animals, while valued, are not considered Service Animals and must also stay in these designated units. Pets are permitted in all yurts, and the campground sites.
  • Required Shot Records: Upon check-in, presentation of current shot records for all pets is mandatory. This includes vaccinations for Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper. Failure to provide these records will prevent check-in.
  • Approved Pets: Only dogs and/or cats are permitted within our pet policy.
  • Pet Limit: For each reservation, guests are restricted to 3 domestic (i.e. dogs/cats) per unit or site.
  • Additional Pet Fees: A supplementary fee of $25.00 will be charged for the first night, and $10.00 for each subsequent night for pet-friendly lodging units.
  • Pets must be on a leash at all times.
  • Pets may not be left in vehicles or units unattended.

RV/Camp Sites

    • We reserve based upon the size of your unit. Sites are assigned at the time of your arrival; specific sites may not be requested.
    • Pets are permitted, limited to 3 domestic (i.e. dogs/cats) per site.
    • Pets must be restrained and guest is responsible for cleaning up any waste.
    • Pets may not be left in vehicles unattended.
    • Maximum of three vehicle/tents site. (eg. one vehicle and two tents)

Yurts

    • Pets are permitted, limited to 3 domestic (i.e. dogs/cats) per yurt.
    • Towels are not provided.
    • Wood is provided.

FIREARMS

  • Firearms are prohibited on site, if you have a firearm with you it must be locked in your vehicle. This includes guns, bows, cross-bows, BB and pellet guns, slingshots, etc.  Please declare weapons at check-in.

Smoking

  • Smoking is prohibited in all units and buildings. A charge of up to $250 will be assessed for smoking in a unit.

Fire Restrictions

  • We have strict outdoor fire restrictions at Fort Tuthill. Wood fires are prohibited, except in designed fire rings, located in the campground,  behind the lodge and unit A01.  Fires in the fire ring must be kept less than 3 feet in height.  Extinguish the fire when leaving the fire pit, make sure there is no smoke or glowing coals. Only use charcoal or propane in the barbeque grills.
  • Depending on fire restrictions and/or wind conditions, charcoal fires may be prohibited.

Equipment Rentals

  • Rentals are for a 24 hour period.
  • Half Day is 4 hours.

Tubing Hill

FORT TUTHILL IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES CAUSED ON TUBE RUN OR BY FORT TUTHILL TUBES. FORT TUTHILL HAS THE RIGHT TO PROHIBIT ANYONE FROM THE TUBE RUN IF THEY ARE NOT FOLLOWING THE STATED RULES.FORT TUTUHIL ALSO HAS THE RIGHT TO PROHIBIT ACCESS TO THE TUBE RUN IF CONDITIONS ARE TOO DANGEROUS.
1. ONLY FORT TUTHILL TUBES ARE ALLOWED
2. TUBES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE RENTAL SHOP
3. TUBE HILL IS ONLY OPEN WITH AT LEAST 1FT OF SNOW
4. TUBING IS PERMITTED SUNRISE TO SUNSET
5. KIDS UNDER 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
6. NO TUBING ON STOMACH – FEET FIRST ONLY
7. CHECK FOR CARS AND PEOPLE BEFORE TUBING
8. ONLY ONE PERSON ON THE TUBE RUN AT A TIME
