Canoe down the lower stretch of the Colorado river where some of the oldest exposed rocks are open for viewing and scrambling. We will start our trip by camping at Lake Mead and the next morning driving over the Hoover Dam and starting right below its massive concrete walls. After canoeing for a few miles we will stop and set up camp near the Arizona Hot Springs, with 3 pools of different temperatures to choose from, anyone will be comfortable after a long canoeing day. There are many different hikes to choose from, as well as natural saunas in rocky coves along the way. We will finish the next day after a few great meals at Willow Beach and head on home. All food and permits and gear are provided. No experience necessary, come and float with us. Limited to 10 participants.
